Deaerator (DA) Feed Water Systems have a two-fold cost-reduction benefit:  flash steam recovery and increased feedwater temperature. IB&M carries an array of DA Systems and can custom build feed water systems to your specific needs.

Whether your operation needs a steady spray type deaerator 30,000 lbs/hr or tray deaerator to handle load swings up to 300,000 lbs/hr, IB&M can supply the deaerator that will maximize your boiler feed water usage.

Hurst Feed Water Systems feature an Automatic Return system that stores water make-up and condensate from the system loop. These feed water systems come fully assembled with a pre-wired control panel and all necessary accessories. 

Hurst Feed Water Treatment & DA Systems

Oxy-Miser Deaerating Boiler Feedwater System is a pressurized dearator that reduces the need for oxygen scavenger chemicals.  Vessels are ASME Code constructed for 50 psig with a more convenient compact design.   Packaged Deaerator systems, 5,000 to 200,000 PPH.

Feedmiser Automatic Return System is an atmospheric feedwater storage system designed for steam boilers operating up to 200 psig.  To help extend the life of the Feedmiser system, Hurst offers an optional automatic steam preheater that reduces corrosion problems by maintaining a feed water temperature of 201°F. 

For systems 30 – 1,000 gallons (larger available upon request). Single, dual, triple, quad and custom built pump systems are available.

BFS Feed Water Systems

Spray Type DA Systems (Spray/Scrubber Deaerators) are a solid fit for boilers that maintain steady loads and stable water inlet temperatures. BFS Spray Feed Water Systems range from 3,500 lbs/hr to 500,000 and higher. 

Tray Type DA Systems  For systems where the load swings and inlet water temperatures tend to vary, Tray (Tray/Spray) Feed Water Systems are the best choice.

These units are engineered to maintain deaeration efficiency under extreme and changing conditions and the trays can be customized into vertical orientation, dual compartment, single skid, etc. arrangements.  BFS Tray Feed Water systems are available from 3,500 lbs/hr to 300,000 lbs/hr and higher.
