IB&M offers the complete line of Alternate Energy Systems packaged propane systems, LPG vaporizers, air mixers, and blenders for use in LPG standby plants. As a turnkey propane service provider, we can size propane systems based on your plant's load requirements, as well as offer complete installation, commissioning, and maintenance.

Packaged propane systems include all interconnecting piping, wiring, controls, and monitoring equipment mounted on a single skid to facilitate quick delivery and installation. IB&M can customize your propane system in-house or on-site to retrofit existing flow controls, LGP inlets, electrical supplies, mixed gas outlets, or gravity meters.

All Alternate Energy Systems packaged propane systems, LPG vaporizers, and air mixers meet the stringent standards of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), NFPA #58, and all IRI requirements.

Propane Vaporizers

Alternate Energy System LPG vaporizers are available in direct fired or indirect fired configurations in capacities from 80 GPH to 5500 GPH. Essentially a boiler, LGP vaporizers boil propane to eliminate any refrigeration that occurs during expansion. Direct fire vaporizers produce heat by using a small percentage of the internal vaporized propane, while indirect vaporizers have an external heat source.

Air Mixers & Blenders

Thousands are making the switch to LGP air mixers and blenders to qualify for "interruptible rate" discounts offered by utility companies. These discounts, along with the natural benefits of interruptible rates, can quickly pay for the cost of the LPG mixer.

Our venturi air mixers and piston operated blenders provide accurate mixing of two gases in capacities ranging from 7MM BTU to 500MM BTU per hour. LGP mixers simulate natural gas by combining LGP vapor and air into a mixture fully compatible with natural gas. The resulting gas mixture maintains consistence caloric properties for use in standby systems.
