Reconditioned/Rebuilt Boilers:
IB&M offers several rebuilt boilers ranging from 10 HP to 100,000 lbs/hr. These boilers go through an exhausting process of tube work, insulation, casing replacement, controls, wiring and paint work, and actually sell for about half the cost of a new unit. Many come with a warranty covering the pressure vessel as well as the burner and controls.

Boiler Installations:
IB&M is one of the largest package boiler, turn key boiler system installation contractors in the eastern United States. We have a very long history of impressive installations ranging from local dry cleaners to major oil platforms in eastern Russia. Examples include complete turn key central energy plants responsible for feeding steam, plant air and process water to multiple manufacturing plants. Many of our systems include the building, piping high lines, fuel storage, master control rooms, steam distribution header systems, chemical feed systems, plant lighting, concrete and all electrical work.

Boiler Repairs:
The core of our field work is the repair and rebuilding of industrial and power utility boilers of every size, make and model, from 10 HP dry cleaner boilers to units extending over 5 stories in height. IB&M has the experience and capability to repair or rebuild your boiler, from tube replacement, tube design modifications or burner retrofits - all at a fraction of the investment of a new one.

Pressure Vessel Repairs:
IB&M has performed repairs on most every type of industrial pressure vessel, including high pressure steam drums, super heaters, heat exchangers, heat set tunnels, reactors, tube sheets, ligament repairs, propane tanks, latex storage tanks, tube dutchmans and many more. We provide on site stress relieving services, and in some cases pre and post weld heat treating. When repairs are complete, IB&M performs hydrostatic pressure testing, pneumatic testing, and other special tests required. Additionally, each repair is managed by a full time quality control manager and inspected by our qualified insurance inspector.

Refractory Repairs:
We have some of the best and most experienced refractory personnel available in the industry. Our crews are set up to take on the most difficult refractory applications, always on standby for those emergency repairs that can't wait until tomorrow. After refractory repairs are complete, IB&M will provides cure out schedules for each application and send in startup technicians to work with customers getting the system back on line.

Combustion Service:
Our group of burner technicians stands second to none in solving the most complex burner and combustion problems, We employ 10 technicians who bring over 200 years of combined experience servicing boilers, burners, ovens, furnaces, incinerators, air mixed propane systems, vaporizers, hot oil systems, hot water systems and most combustion related equipment. This group is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year and ready when you need them.

Controls and Instrumentation:
The latest addition to IB&M, this division was created to address increasing fuel costs and the rising demand of better technology in boiler controls and instrumentation. We created a panel building room to create custom designed control panels for every type of application. This room has duel pressure control air supply, test gases for instrumentation calibration, on line computer programs to access and diagnose remote system problems, saving down time and in many cases help a customer get back on line with making a service call. Each control panel is custom designed and built on site upon customer approval, then programmed and tested before being installed in the field, ensuring a faster installation with minimum downtime.
